Suppose something happens in the macro-environment that could inhibit your chosen firm from operating for a period of time (try 3-5 weeks.) Please write a 3-5 page paper outlining the steps your firm would take to, at least, mitigate (some, if not all) of the impact of this environmental event has on your firm’s operations. Some questions that you can ask are:
- What resources does my firm need to “overcome” this event?
- Does the firm have enough of these resources to, at least, shorten the time “off” for my operations?
- Does the firm have to “buy” the necessary resources, on a temporary basis, to be able to shorten the impact of the event on the firm’s operations?
- What are the medium to long-term affects on operations, human resources, strategy, and/or organizational culture of this event?
Format your paper using APA guidelines. The Cover sheet, references page, and any visual aids you may use to provide support to your central thesis are NOT included in the page count.
Include a minimum of two (2) peer reviewed sources that you will find in the University’s Library. Sources used must conform to academic rigor. If you do not know if the source you want to use is academically rigorous, then please ask.
