Part 1: Interpersonal Communication Skill Training Slide Presentation

Submit a 12- to 18-slide presentation which includes the following:

• Introduction (2–3 slides)
  • Identify the interpersonal communication skill.
  • Explain why the employees need to use the skill.
  • Highlight the benefits of learning the skill.
• Training (8–12 slides)
  • Give an overview with examples of how the skill is used in a typical interpersonal interaction.
  • Provide an activity for employees to practice the skill.
  • Provide an assessment activity for employees to test their expertise with the skill.
  • Provide a second activity that includes a cultural consideration in the use of the skill.
• Wrap-Up (2–3 slides)
  • Debrief on the use of the skill.
  • Reinforce the benefits of using the skill.
  • Suggest how the skill can be used in other contexts.
• Presenter Notes
  • Outline your presentation in the Notes section of your slides.
  • Highlight instances in the Notes section of at least two slides when modifications need to be made on the part of the presenter to be culturally sensitive.
  • Highlight in the Notes section of at least two slides the appropriate uses of the skill in an organizational context.

Part 2: Course Project Paper and Annotated Bibliography

Submita 3­- to 5-page paper which addresses the following:

• Describe the target audience and the needs.
• Justify your choice of skill to train.
• Explain why your training is effective for the context.
• Propose additional contexts for your training.
• Provide an annotated bibliography.
